Two old stories about who gets heard.
Hi friends,
It has been a week. Some of us woke up Wednesday relieved, some of us are grieving what has already happened to people we love, and most of us are carrying some of both. You don’t have to sort it out before Sunday. Bring it with you.
Sunday is week two of Plowshares. We’ll hear two old stories about who gets heard: a young king who asks God for a listening heart, and a great general who nearly walks away from what he came for because it arrives through a captive girl, a few servants, and a muddy river. They ask something harder than whether we’re listening. They ask who we’re listening to.
On November 15, we’ll stay around the table after worship for our Thanksgiving lunch, and everyone is welcome. Details for that and the rest of the month are below.
I’m looking forward to listening with you.
If you can’t be with us in person, you can watch live at 11:00 AM Pacific.

Let’s start a conversation.
Not ready to visit yet? That’s okay. Text us with questions, prayer requests, or just to learn more. When you’re ready to plan a visit, we can do that too.
