Nobody ever fixed it, and it stayed in the book anyway. Plus the new Sacred Place app is live.
Friends,
School started yesterday. Most of this week went into getting ready for it, and a good part of that happened during hours I would normally be working. I got to be home with Noah picking out a backpack and a new water bottle instead. I’m grateful I had the time to give him.
Sunday is week four of Hold On, and it’s the hard one. We’re reading Psalm 88, the one psalm in the whole book that never turns. Most laments complain and rage and then find their footing somewhere near the end. This one doesn’t. It starts in the dark and stays there, and the people who received it kept it anyway, without tidying it up.
We’re not going to tidy it up either. If you’re in a stretch where the praying isn’t landing, this is a good Sunday to be with us. Nothing has to be resolved for you to belong here.
Everything in one place. Last week I mentioned an app replacement was coming. It’s here. At sacredplace.app you can manage your giving, RSVP for gatherings, join the livestream, and more. Giving still works the way it has, at yoursacredplace.org/give or by texting GIVE to (909) 506-2400. If you need access, email hello@yoursacredplace.org and we’ll get you set up.
Sunday at 11 AM Pacific, in person or online.

Let’s start a conversation.
Not ready to visit yet? That’s okay. Text us with questions, prayer requests, or just to learn more. When you’re ready to plan a visit, we can do that too.
