Hold On: Our New Summer Series Starts Sunday

Hey Sacred Place Family,

This week we start Hold On, our summer series about what faith does when God goes quiet. It’s seven weeks with the people in Scripture who didn’t get easy answers, who stayed in the relationship anyway, through silence and rupture and prayers that didn’t go the way they hoped. We begin at a mountain, on a hard day, with people who have every reason to give up on each other and somehow don’t.

What keeps catching me is how honest these stories let us be. Faith here isn’t tidy or certain. It’s someone refusing to let go even when they don’t understand, even when they’re not sure anyone is listening. That’s the kind of faith I most want to learn, and I don’t think it’s learned alone. Come start the series with us.
