New This Week: Found Family, Our Pride Series

Hey Sacred Place Family,

Last week we celebrated seven years. This week we begin something new: Found Family, our summer Pride series in Ruth and Esther—five weeks on what it means to build family out of loss, by choice and by covenant.

It starts this Sunday in Ruth 1, and we’re opening it a little differently—not a reflection, but a guided study. We’ll read the story closely and let the conversation belong to the room. We’ll sing the song that carries the whole series, then settle in together.

One practical note: this Sunday is in-person only—no livestream this week—so we’d love to have you in the room. Bring your questions, bring someone; there’s room for you here. We gather at 11:00 AM Pacific.

I’m away June 7 and 14, but you’re in wonderful hands—Bryan is back to lead both weeks. I’ll be holding you all in mind, and I can’t wait to be back with you for Week 3.
