Mission Sunday at Lazy Dog

Happy Friday!

As I mentioned on Wednesday, this Sunday is our Mission Sunday Brunch. Y’all will gather at 11:00 AM at Lazy Dog in Rancho Cucamonga, with the church covering the bill. There will be no programming at the church building this weekend.

During the fall, our Sunday rhythm shifts because we have a lot going on. In October, Mission Sunday moves to the third Sunday because the Reformation Sunday Fall Festival is on the fourth—with a bonus celebration of our new members joining. In November, our annual Thanksgiving Lunch is on November 15, since so many of us travel the week of Thanksgiving, and Mission Sunday is on November 22. Our bonus fifth Sunday in November is actually the First Sunday in Advent, so we’ll kick off the season with our annual Advent Festival.

It’s wild that we’re in our final quarter of 2026, and this is when things start moving quickly.

I hope brunch is a meaningful time together this week (please RSVP by noon today if at all possible, and we’ll never turn anyone away), and I will see you next Sunday for the Reformation Sunday Fall Festival and Member Celebration.
