July Mission Sunday Brunch

Hey Sacred Place Family,

I’m going to be away this Sunday, so I won’t be at the table with you. And honestly, that’s part of what makes a Mission Sunday a Mission Sunday: we don’t need a program, or a pulpit, or even a pastor in the room to be the church. We just need each other, and a reason to show up.

So while I’m gone, go be together. This Sunday we’re trading the usual gathering for brunch at Lazy Dog, just north of Ontario Mills. No agenda, no order of service, no one up front. Just good food, a long table, and the people who make this place feel like home. The church is picking up the bill, so come hungry, take your time, and bring whoever you’d bring to your own table.

One favor while I’m away: RSVP here so we can save enough seats for everyone. It only takes a second, and it helps us give the restaurant a good headcount.

I’ll be thinking about you all gathered around that table without me, which is exactly how it should be. Go enjoy each other, and I’ll be back with you soon.
