Exodus 14 together this Sunday, in person only, 11:00 AM.
Friends,
I’ll be away this Sunday. Instead of Mission Sunday, this time it’s a Small Group Sunday, partially because of Central School District’s strange calendaring choices. I enjoy putting these in because when I’m not the one up front, people talk more, and the questions get better.
This week we set the usual order aside and spend our time with Exodus 14. It’s a story most of us think we know. Pharaoh changes his mind, the chariots come, and the people end up pinned against the sea with nowhere to go. We’ll read it aloud, watch a BibleWorm video on it together, and then talk.
Michael is leading the conversation, and he’ll hold it well. Thandiwe is leading music, so we’ll sing together, too. You don’t need to prepare anything or know the story going in. Come curious, bring whatever question it raises for you, and expect to hear something from the person next to you that you wouldn’t have thought of on your own.
There’s no livestream this week. Coffee is on at 10:30, and we gather at 11:00 AM.
Next Sunday I’m back, the story moves on to Sinai, and we’ll share communion together. The details are below.
See you soon, Pastor Matthew
Let’s start a conversation.
Not ready to visit yet? That’s okay. Text us with questions, prayer requests, or just to learn more. When you’re ready to plan a visit, we can do that too.
