Happy Friday Sacred Place! There are some things happening soon that we think you should all know about!
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend a Zoom meeting of the Riverside Interfaith Council. They’re dedicated to understanding, finding and focusing on the things that unite us as people – whether we are people of religious faith or not. Last Sunday they held a prayer walk in downtown Riverside with stops and presentations at various locations.
The next event coordinated by the Riverside Interfaith Council is a celebration of the National Day of Prayer. For more information please contact me or visit their website or social media link.

Pomona Valley Pride is hosting a one day spiritual retreat. Join us on Saturday, May 4th, along with Haven Fellowship, Claremont Presbyterian, and other faith communities as we talk about faith hope and love in the queer community. Many of us carry hurt from ways that we have felt excluded and othered by “church.” How can we work together to heal and do better for people in the future?
