Plowshares
2 Samuel 11:1–5, 26–27; 12:1–9
Uriah the Hittite was loyal to a king who betrayed him, and the story nearly forgets his name. All Saints’ Sunday is a day for remembering names. We begin Plowshares, four weeks on power and what God asks of it, with 2 Samuel 11–12 and Psalm 51, and we light candles during communion for the ones we carry with us. Join us at 11:00 AM Pacific, in person or online.
