We know it can be daunting visiting a smaller church for the first time.
If you’re super social, extroverted, and/or comfortable in new situations, we invite you to join us at 10:30 for our informal time of refreshments & refreshing conversation before our main gathering. This is a great time to get to know folx and grab some snacks.
If you’re more introverted or prefer to sneak in the back for your first visit, we recommend that you arrive at 11 for our main gathering time of music, reflection, and worship. We have some couches off to the side of the room which are pretty comfortable, and can be a good place to sit if you want a bit more space.
On Mission Sundays, everyone should show up at 10:30 am.
Refreshments + Refreshing Conversation
We start with some informal time of catching up over coffee, tea, and bagels. We share stories and talk about how we live in this world as people of justice, inclusion, and family. Then we move to our main gathering space for music & a reflection with Pastor Matthew (most Sundays) or Mission Sunday activities.
Music + Reflection + Worship
Our weekly gathering with music and a reflection from Pastor Matthew. We keep things informal, and usually around 45 minutes. Once the live stream ends, we do our time of community prayer.
There is no live stream on Mission Sundays: January 28, February 25, March 17, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, August 25, September 22, October 20, and November 17.
Learning + growing together
Though we don’t have a permanent staff member for our Sacred Kids ministry yet, we do have coverage for every Sunday with folx who are fully background checked. They lead in a time of storytelling with coordinating activities.
We use the Mini Revolutions curriculum from Illustrated Ministry, a creatively-focused, inclusive company which does great work.
Visit our permanent home not too far from the previous Mission Center location!
At the corner of 25th Street + Center Avenue. It’s easiest to enter the parking lot from Center Avenue.
Our hybrid gatherings have shifted to a more individual web-based experience. You have the option to request prayer online and respond.
